NOTE: UPDATES TO THIS KAL ARE INCLUDED AT END OF THIS POST!
Now that we are close to wrapping up the French Market Bag KAL, it's time to think about our next KAL! Many people have expressed interest in the Chic Knits Ribby sweaters (namely, the Ribby Cardi, the Ribby Pulli, and the Ribby Shell). So guess what?! We're having a RIBBY KAL! There's something for everyone in these three designs. AND, if three designs aren't enough for you, there are design variations WITHIN the patterns! Want all-around-ribbing on your Ribby Shell? OK, that's available. Want a scoop neck on your Ribby Pulli instead of a turtleneck? OK, that's an option too! And what about a hood on that Ribby Cardi? Sure! No prob! I will be working on the Ribby Cardi. It looks like the perfect sweater to keep close by at the shop. When I get to the zipper stage, I will organize a zipper workshop for those suffering from zipperphobia. The KAL kick-off is Sunday, May 4th at the Couch Potato Widows Club. You can download the patterns from the ChicKnits site, or buy hard copies here at the shop. Bonne Marie Burns, the designer behind Chic Knits, has prepared an extensive list of yarn options for each sweater. Let me know if you would like some guidance. So how about it? Are you in?

I'm in too! I'll pick up the pattern and yarn when I see you in late May. I soooo need a break from the Icarus shawl!

Perfect timing! I was just thinking about how I've had the yarn and pattern for the Ribby Pulli for way too long. I'm in!
